TRINITY VISIONS
OUR HISTORY
Set to the backdrop of rolling hills, two 4-year universities, friendly faces, and good people, Lincoln Parish is the ideal setting for students, families, and retirees alike. However, in the early 2000s, Reverend Clifton E. Lewis saw a void. He was given a vision - a vision of a structure that would take Christ to the community and minister to the fullness of the human experience. From this vision and his collaboration with now CEO Ed Jackson, the foundation for Trinity Visions Commmunity Development Corporation, Inc. and the eponymous Clifton E. Lewis Family Life Center were born.
Reverend Lewis's desire was to provide the community at-large with opportunities to grow physically, mentally, socially and spiritually through group activities, educational and technology training, social interactions, and exercise. His belief was that true ministry and leadership could only be accomplished through service and that there is no greater service than to encourage, empower, and uplift your fellow man.
Trinity Visions Community Development Corporation, Inc. was founded in April of 2002. The mission of the organization is to promote the economic, educational, social, cultural, and physical well-being of the total community with innovative programs providing the right service mix and promoting excellence in all endeavors.
